Upgrades at San Luis Obispo airport now complete

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport runway rehabilitation project is now complete.

The $13.5 million project took about six month to complete.

The project included upgrades to the main runway and its taxiway connectors.

Airport officials said the project was completed on time and on budget.

Funding for the project came from the Federal Aviation Administration's airport improvement program.
