UPDATE: A man missing out of Kings County has been located safe and reunited with family. Police said Wednesday morning that the man was possibly in the San Luis Obispo area. Later that evening police said he had been located safe.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A man missing out of Kings County is possibly in the San Luis Obispo area, police said Wednesday.

Eric Lopez, 25, was reported missing from the City of Avenal by his family, according to the Avenal Police Department.

Police said Lopez is believed to possibly be in the San Luis Obispo area. Police are urging anyone who may see him to contact local law enforcement.

The Avenal Police Department also pleaded for Lopez to contact police to assure his family of his safety.
