Teenager shot in Lompoc, police investigating

crime, shooting investigation

LOMPOC, Calif. - The Lompoc Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 9 p.m. Monday evening.

The incident reportedly took place at the 700 block of North E Street.

Upon arriving, the officers found a teenager with a single gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by AMR to the Lompoc Emergency Room where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

Lompoc Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Lompoc Police Department Detective Bureau at (805) 875-8120.
