ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Officials say an explosion possibly caused by a natural gas leak has rocked a suburban Detroit condominium complex. At least two people were seriously injured Tuesday night, and 18 families have been displaced. A man and a woman in their 70s were injured. The explosion occurred Tuesday night at the Keatington New Town Association in Orion Township, northwest of Detroit. Township Fire Chief Ryan Allen says one condo building exploded, damaging several other buildings. Township Supervisor Chris Barnett says it’s an “absolute miracle” that no one was killed. Consumers Energy says it found no abnormalities in its natural gas system.
