Rollover crash in Santa Maria leaves 1 hurt

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- The Santa Maria Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover crash that left one person hurt.

It happened Thursday morning on the 500 block of E. Mariposa St.

Cal Star transported one patient by helicopter to Cottage Hospital for injuries. Santa Maria police report the elderly patient is recovering, and her family speculates the cause may have derived from medical issues.

Santa Maria Police are still investigating the reasons behind the crash.
