Mid-State Fair accepting applications for homemade wine competition

PASO ROBLES, Calif. - The Mid-State Fair is accepting applications for their homemade wine competition.

They accept entries for wines made in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

The wines are judged in six categories: white, rosé , red, dessert, wines made with other fruits beside grapes, and sparkling. There's also an award for 'best of show.'
