MORRO BAY, Calif. - A Morro Bay home was evacuated Friday after it was hit by a tree.

The tree crashed into the home in the 400 block of Orcas Street.

Morro Bay Fire tweeted photos from the scene around 12:45 p.m. Friday.

The photos show a large tree uprooted and leaning on the home.

Firefighters said the house had been evacuated and the street was closed.

They were waiting for PG&E crews to arrive at the scene.
