Body pulled from water in Pismo Beach

MGN Online

PISMO BEACH, Calif. - Pismo Beach police were investigating after a body was pulled from the water Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the scene around 3:30 p.m. and found a man's body.

Police weren't able to find any sort of identification, but they say it was a white man whose body was found. The person had signs of trauma to his head, but police said his death did not appear to be of a criminal nature.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office confirms a coroner's investigator was called to the scene around 4 p.m. Firefighters also responded.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Pismo Beach Police Department at (805) 773-2208.

Police would not confirm whether there was any connection to a missing person case reported last week. A 28-year-old Orange County man was reported missing and had last been seen in the Pismo Beach area.
