Firefighters respond to oil spill at Greka oil facility near Casmalia

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Firefighters responded to an oil spill in the Santa Maria Valley Wednesday.

Santa Barbara County firefighters say eight to 10 barrels of crude oil were released from a half-inch line at 5080 Black Road, a Greka oil facility just north of the community of Casmalia.

Firefighters said the line was shut down and no waterways were impacted.

The fire department said the spill had been contained.
