Firefighters respond to small brush fire in Santa Ynez area
SANTA YNEZ, Calif. - Firefighters responded to a small brush fire Tuesday in the Santa Ynez area.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department said the fire started around 12:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters called it the Dove Fire and said it had burned less than an acre at Dove Meadow Road and San Mil Road.
Firefighters said it was growing at a slow rate of spread.
The department said the two engines and one crew at the scene would be able to handle the incident.
An investigator was on the way to the scene as of 12:50 p.m.
