Cyber Monday Shopping Tips
The holiday shopping season is in full swing, and on Monday Americans are turning their attention from the Black Friday frenzy to Cyber Monday.
121-million people are expected to shop online on Cyber Monday.
Shoppertrak found that every year more and more people are trading in waiting in-line for shopping online. This year Black Friday shopping dropped by more than a billion dollars in stores, but online shopping increased by close to a billion, so overall it evens out. NewsChannel 3 went to the streets to find out what shoppers prefer and why.
“Online it seams to be easier, I don’t have to deal with people and it get’s delivered,” said online shopper, Jeremy Ennis.
“For clothes and stuff I would rather do it online, but for everything else I do it in person,” said Gabi Maudiere, of Santa Barbara.
“I am a little bit of both. I think it is important that we keep the local economy going and that we shop locally as much as we can, but it is also faster and easier to do it online,” said JoAnn Jacobs, of Santa Barbara.
So if you plan on doing some Cyber Monday shopping, here is a look at some of the best sitewide discounts. Target will offer 15 percent off everything with code “Cyber15,” and get 20 percent off at Macy’s with code “Cyber”.
