Motorcyclist Rescued From Ravine

A motorcyclist went off the side of the road and dropped thirty feet into a ravine Saturday.

Crews from Santa Barbara County and Lompoc came to the rescue.

It happened on the 37-hundred block of San Miguelito Road, around 3:30 p.m. today.

Fire fighters and EMT crews pulled the biker up and out with ropes and a gurney.

He was air-lifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where he was treated for moderate injures.
