Missing Carpinteria Man Located

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department released the following information:

Sky Robinson was located just after 6 p.m. Tuesday according to sheriff spokesperson Kelly Hoover.

Public assistance was requested to help locate an at-risk, missing, Carpinteria resident.

29-year-old Robison was last seen at approximately 1:00 p.m. Tueday when he jumped out of a two story apartment in the 4100 block of Via Real in Carpinteria and fled.

His family says Robison has autism and they are concerned that he may be fatigued and possibly injured from the fall. Sheriff’s deputies with the assistance of a Santa Barbara County Air Support Unit helicopter and a K-9 Unit searched the area for several hours but were unable to locate Robison.

A reverse 9-1-1 was also sent out to area residents. Robison is approximately 6’2″ tall with a thin build and a long, brown ponytail.

He was last seen wearing a tan military-style hat, white long-sleeved button-up shirt, green pants rolled up and no shoes.

He was also wearing a black self-made mask that covered his mouth with shoelace strings.

Robison is not considered to be a danger to the public.

If you see him, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
