Fiesta Marshals Sought to Increase the Ranks

Volunteers are being sough to be Old Spanish Days Fiesta Marshals next week in Santa Barbara.

Marshals gets special positions on the parade route to help coordinate the floats, and carriages along with a variety of crowd control duties at each intersection.

The 90th Fiesta parade, El Desfile Historico, is expected to draw a crowd of 100,000 to downtown Santa Barbara and the waterfront. It is one of the most historical parades in California and has more equestrian entries that virtually any event of its kind in America.
