Oxnard Shooting Leaves Man Dead, Two Others Injured
A manhunt is underway in Oxnard for at least one gunman who opened fired early Wednesday night, killing one person and injuring two others.
Oxnard Police said the triple shooting happened just after 6 p.m. near the corner of H and 9th Streets.
The victims were all taken to the Ventura County Medical Center.
Streets in the area, not far from the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, were closed off to keep the public far from the crime scene.
Police say it is too soon to say whether the shooting is gang-related.
This is the tenth homicide of the year in Oxnard.
