Convenience Store Celebrates Reopening
The Hi Time Stop ‘N Shop convenience store has just been rebuilt following a devastating fire.
The store and its employees celebrated the grand re-opening with a barbeque on Friday.
The store is located on El Sueno and Calle Real in Santa Barbara. Flames shot out of the 50-year-old building during the overnight hours back in April.
The store is now divided into two sections, grocery and alcohol as well as a wine section.
The store owner says it means a lot to the community to have their neighborhood store back.
The owner, Tony Jarjour said he believed the fire was caused by an electrical problem. The store was closed when the flames broke out.
