Stinchfield preliminary hearing wraps, case now on for trial

The preliminary hearing for Michael Stinchfield wrapped up Wednesday morning and a judge is sending the case to trial.

Judge Clifford Anderson says there was enough evidence to support allegations that crimes were committed.

Stinchfield is the Santa Barbara business man charged with holding two women hostage and beating them with a baseball bat in November.

He has pleaded not guilty to the 13 felony charges.

Stinchfield will be back in court on April 12 for an arraignment on the information and a hearing on a possible bail reduction.
