Fire stations get pet oxygen masks

Lifesaving oxygen masks aren’t just for adults, they make them for pets too.

Pet safety foundations are giving them out to California fire stations.

Members of the Emma Zen Foundation of Anaheim stopped at fire stations in Ventura County today to donate masks.

The Dog-E-9-1-1 program donated and trained the Santa Maria Fire Department Thursday morning too.

An estimated 40,000 pets are killed in house fires each year.
