Stabbing in Goleta

Goleta– A man was stabbed Thursday night in Goleta at an apartment complex on Pacific Oaks and the 7100 block of Davenport. The incident took place around 7:30 at night. Officials are actively searching for two male suspects. The incident began as an altercation between three people that knew each other. This was not a random attack. According to Sheriff’s Lt. Butch Arnoldi, the primary suspect is 30 year old Michael Anthony Glover, a parolee, recently released from state prison. The second suspect is a hispanic man with long blonde hair. KEY News is told the second suspect may be turning himself in shortly. The victim is being identified as 31-year old Jamal Allen aka Blue. . He was stabbed multiple times, and taken to Cottage Hospital. He is in recovery. Sheriff’s officials were out in full force Thursday night with their helicopter circling the area. They had three canines on scene. The University Police Department also assisted with the search. Since this was not a random stabbing, authorities say there is no immediate threat to the public.
