Fiesta Children’s Parade puts kids in the Old Spanish Days spotlight

Children's parade

SANTA BARBARA, Calif-The Fiesta Children’s Parade is an Old Spanish Days favorite.

Hazel and Charlie Ray and hundreds of other kids were excited to participate.

Although Old Spanish Days is marking it's 99th anniversary, the parade just celebrated its 91st year.

Fiesta Flower Girls walked the parade route along Cabrillo Blvd. from Garden to Calle Puerto Vallarta by the Chromatic Gate artwork and the Hilton Hotel.

Families created their own floats, crates, and wagons to take part.

Parks and Recreation helped make the parade pass by.

It served as the perfect photo opportunity for people who like to carry on the tradition.
