Concerts in the Park wraps up with a full crowd and a pre-Fiesta sound at Chase Palm Park

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The four week summertime Concerts in the Park series has wrapped up with a full crowd at Santa Barbara's Chase Palm Park.

Thursday night, Mezcal Martini performed with an nine piece band on the stage in front of a crowd of about 2000.

Previous weeks have features the Paradise Kings, the Molly Ringwald Project and Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries.

Concerts in the Park has been a very popular summertime event by the Santa Barbara City Parks and Recreation department. Shows scheduled to go 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. have nudged over by one song nearly every week because of the audience demand and support from the department staff seeing the enthusiastic community spirit on site.

All shows have been free.
