Final Thriller rehearsal held before Thrill the World performance in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Dancers having been perfecting their thriller moves.
In addition to doing flash mob performances all around town they will be dressing up for their biggest performance this Saturday in the Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Gardens.
World Dance For Humanity's Janet Reineck is their leader.
She created the nonprofit to raise money for charities and that is what they will be doing on Saturday.
They are close to their goal of raising $20,000 by Halloween.
This year the money raised will go to children in Rwanda, survivors of the Maui fires, people in Ukraine and a local Boys and Girls Club.
That's is what Sunny Saal,12, said she likes best about dancing.
Bernard Unterman said they performed Thriller at the gate of Neverland.
They say it never gets old.
The dance party starts at 2p.m. and the five minute plus Thriller performance will begin at 3 p.m.
It will coincide with Thriller performances around the globe.
Reineck teachers classes six days a week and also teaches one class online.
