Help improve local internet access through the California Digital Equity Survey before June 30

GOLETA, Calif. – The City of Goleta issued a reminder for all Californians interested in making a difference and having their opinions heard as part of the California Digital Equity Survey portion of the state's Digital Equity Plan.

The California Department of Technology, using a federal planning grant, is developing a Digital Equity Plan for the state and a key component is community input through the California Digital Equity Survey.

The survey will close on Jun. 30 of this year.

One in five Californians lack access to reliable broadband services and this lack of access is part of a broader digital divide details a press release on the Digital Equity Survey.
