Local brewery creates special drink to raise funds for Ukraine

GROVER BEACH, Calif. – A Grover Beach brewery is raising funds for Ukraine.

Apogee Brewing Company is an outer-spaced themed brewery, named after the furthest point away from earth.

The special brew is a Golden Ale named "No Space for Putin: Believe in Ukraine."

Apogee Brew Company partner Jeffrey Claxton said “A Ukrainian brewer who lost his brewery early in the war, he posted all his recipes and asked brewers of the world to brew his recipes and support the Ukrainian cause – and that’s what we did here at Apogee.”

All proceeds will benefit Ukraine relief funds of Shelter Box USA.
