Lompoc accepting applications for Fourth of July block parties

LOMPOC, Calif. -- The City of Lompoc is providing applications for the Fourth of July Block Party on Monday afternoon.

Lompoc's Parks and Recreation is coordinating with Lompoc Police and Fire Departments to encourage community members who want to light Safe and Sane Fireworks.

Johns-Manville Park will be the community location that will hold the permitted block party.

The application packets are currently available here and residents can grab them at the Anderson Recreation Center at 125 West Walnut Avenue. The application must be turned in in person at the Anderson Recreation Center.

The deadline to submit the application is June 17.
