OXNARD, Calif. - On a day usually commemorated with ceremonies, a Salute to Veterans took place in the form of a drive-thru in Oxnard.

On Veterans Day, all veterans were welcome to drive through the event at 2330 N. Rose Ave. for a contactless exchange of items veterans may need.

The 'Grab n' Go' offered gifts bags that included information about community resources.
