Santa Maria Holiday decorating contest

For those living in Santa Maria, 'tis the season to be jolly and spread holiday cheer throughout the community!

The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department invite homes and businesses to decorate for the 'Lights, Sights, & Holiday Nights Decorating Contest'.

Awards will be given out for best new entry, lighting display with motion lights, music, and/or animatronics, nostalgic displays, simply decorated homes, and hall of fame.

Decorating can begin now and will end on Tuesday, December 10th.

If you'd like to nominate a home or business, email up to three pictures of the location, the address, and a contact phone number to rpinfo@cityofsantamaria.org.

Final judging will take place from 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. on December 12th. All winners will be announced on Friday, December 13th.
