SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — A 1971 Volkswagen is turning heads around Santa Barbara, giving guests a chance to take home memories from special events.

Known as Benny the Bus, the vintage vehicle has been transformed into a mobile photo booth for weddings, fundraisers and community celebrations.

Its latest stop was an election-night gathering hosted by Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County and other local Democratic organizations.

About 250 guests attended the celebration, where Benny the Bus offered custom photo strips featuring the event’s colors and election-night theme.

The photo booth operated from 7:30 to 11 p.m., attracting guests throughout the evening.
