Phone and internet service interruptions in Buellton, Solvang, and Lompoc areas continue

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – There are confirmed reports of phone and internet service interruptions in the Buellton, Solvang, and Lompoc areas.

According to the County of Santa Barbara, the outage is due to the Riverview Fire Thursday and a ReadSBC webpage about the incident with the latest updates has been set up.

According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, text and calls to 911 services are currently still working for those with an emergency to report as is the Sheriff's Dispatch line at 805-683-2724.

Residents with internet access issues are reminded to not call 911 for their internet outages and are instead directed to call your internet service provider shared the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
