Fire crews extinguish 52-acre fire in Paso Robles Monday evening

PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Fire crews responded to a 52-acre vegetation fire in the 2900 block of Creston Rd. in Paso Robles.

On Jul. 8, around 6 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a vegetation fire in the 2900 block of Creston Road and arrived within four minutes to discover a wind-driven one-acre fire burning light grass detailed Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services in a press release Tuesday.

Forward progress of the flames was stopped at 52 acres around 7:04 p.m. Monday with minor damage to cellular infrastructure and no damage to nearby structures explained Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services.

According to Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services, assistance with the fire was provided by the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, Paso Robles Police Department, and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
