Two men arrested after theft at Target in Paso Robles Monday afternoon
PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Two Fresno men were arrested after the theft of more than $2000 in store items from a Paso Robles Target on Monday.
On May 13, around 4:04 p.m., officers with the Paso Robles Police Department responded to a report of two men stealing from Target stated Paso Robles Police Department in a press release about the arrests.
According to the Paso Robles Police Department, further investigation revealed that the two men, a 28-year-old and a 42-year-old, both from Fresno had stolen items worth approximately $2000,
Arriving officers attempted to pull over the 28-year-old as he left the scene in a black Ford Focus and the 28-year-old rear-ended an unrelated vehicle before leaving the Focus and fleeing on foot detailed Paso Robles Police Department.
The 42-year-old left the scene on foot and both men were eventually arrested without incident stated Paso Robles Police Department.
No one was injured during the response and inside of the Focus, officers discovered a small amount of narcotics, burglary tools, and stolen property explained Paso Robles Police Department.
Both men were arrested and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail and the investigation into the incident is currently ongoing detailed Paso Robles Police Department.
