Firefighters respond to residential fire in Nipomo Monday afternoon

NIPOMO, Calif. – Firefighters responded to a residential fire at 848 Alejandro Way in Nipomo Monday morning.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, there were no injuries during the response, but the fire destroyed about 80% of the home with an initial estimate of $300,000 in damage.

Fire crews were able to contain the fire to only one home and intend to remain for overhaul of the scene for the next few hours detail San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.
