Santa Barbara County firefighters knock down structure fire that burned 3 cars

GOLETA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Thornwood Drive and Technology Drive in Goleta around 4:51 a.m. Monday morning.

A semi-trailer and three vehicles that were next to the trailer were fully involved in flames. However, the fire department was able to save a boat that was nearby.

The fire is currently knocked down and firefighters said it did not have an impact on the airport.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
