Fernandes lifts UMass past George Washington 99-88 in A10

WASHINGTON — Noah Fernandes had a career-high 29 points as UMass defeated George Washington 99-88 in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tourney. Joe Bamisile led the Colonials on Thursday night with 25 points.
