Dons hold off Rio Mesa in Channel League boys basketball

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Luke Zuffelato scored 20 points as Santa Barbara defeated Rio Mesa 64-59 in a Channel League boys basketball game.

The Dons led 57-46 midway through the fourth quarter before the Spartans pulled within 4 points with 30 seconds left.

But Santa Barbara hung on to improve to 9-3 in league, good for third place with 2 games left in the regular season.

Will Harman added 12 points, Tobin Shyrock tallied 10 points and Carter Battle scored 9 points for the winning Dons.
