Dallas Cowboys training camp returns to Oxnard
OXNARD, Calif.- The Dallas Cowboys are back in Oxnard for training camp. The Cowboys returned to Oxnard for their 17th time.
Before practice on Saturday the mayor of Oxnard presented Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones with football trophy.
Jerry Jones also presented the City of Oxnard with a $20,000 check.
Die hard Cowboy fans came out to show their love for their team.
"I love the Dallas Cowboys more than anything. If you could tell me right now that the Dallas Cowboys would win the Super Bowl in the near future and you can't get married or have kids, I would do it without a doubt. I would do it. It's been too long," said Cowboys fan Zachary Kinley.
Some fans made the trip out of state to see the Cowboys for the first time. Even fans of all ages came out to training camp to support their team.
"It was cool. I mean, obviously I live in Arizona, so I see a bunch of Cardinals fans, but this is like the most Cowboys fans I've seen at one point. And yeah, that's cool. That's cool. Fan base and just the fans and I don't know, it's cool experience," said Zachary Tracy Cowboys fan visiting from Arizona.
