Ventura County COVID-19 cases now 4,619, 53 deaths

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. - There were 373 new cases of COVID-19 reported over the weekend on Monday in Ventura County. There are now 4,619 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, including 53 deaths.

The county has been releasing updated numbers every weekday.

2,132 people are under active quarantine, and 95 people are currently hospitalized, 29 of which are in the ICU. 2,434 people are considered to be recovered.

More than 90,800 people have been tested.

The majority of these deaths have occurred in people 65 or older. Two deaths have been reported in people aged 25-44.
