Police respond to shooting victim in Oxnard
OXNARD, Calif. -- The Oxnard Police Department and Oxnard City Fire Department responded to a shooting victim on Monday afternoon.
According to Oxnard Police, the incident took place around 1:15 p.m. at the 100 block of North Roosevelt Avenue.
Upon arrival, police located a 29-year-old male Oxnard resident suffering from a single gunshot wound. Police said the wound was in the lower extremities, but no exact area was released.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
