Caltrans District 5 issues update on storm impacts on area roads Monday afternoon
CENTRAL COAST REGION, Calif. – The California Department of Transportation District 5 posted or reposted the following road closure information on X (formerly known as Twitter) as storms hit the area.
Here is a helpful tool to track storm-related closures across Santa Barbara County.
UPDATES: Caltrans District 5 has provided updates on the following roads previously mentioned as closed or partially closed.
- Highway 246 from Sweeney Road to Mission Gate Road has now been reopened
- Highway 1 from Solomon Road to Black Road has now reopened
State Route 192 is closed from Torita Road to Toro Canyon Road in Santa Barbara County due to a tree in contact with power lines. No estimate for re-opening.@CaltransHQ
