ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - One lane of Highway 101 was closed in Arroyo Grande after a large truck crashed into the center divider Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 1:13 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Brisco Road, north of Grand Avenue.

California Highway Patrol said the truck overturned after crashing into the guardrails in the center divider. Pictures show the front end of the big rig on its side while the back end remained upright on the roadway.

The number one lane was blocked and has been closed by Caltrans while they perform emergency repairs on about 70 feet of guardrail.

It is unclear when the lane will be reopened.

Only one vehicle was reportedly involved in this crash.

It is unclear if anyone was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by CHP.
