Driver killed in rollover crash on West Camino Cielo near Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - One person was pronounced dead on Sunday after a vehicle rolled over on West Camino Cielo north of Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara County Fire crews responded to the 7000 block of West Camino Cielo around 12:46 p.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle rollover.
Upon arriving, crews said they found a grey Jeep on its side on a dirt road with a person in their 20s or 30s trapped underneath. They said it appears the driver was partially ejected during the crash before being pinned by the vehicle. That person was declared dead at the scene.

Firefighters are working to remove the body of the victim from the wreckage. County Fire said they will be at the scene for some time assisting California Highway Patrol and the Sheriff's Office with the investigation.
CHP said all traffic was stopped on West Camino Cielo near the gun club.
