Woman killed in crash in Paso Robles

PASO ROBLES, Calif. - A woman died in a crash in Paso Robles Thursday afternoon.

At around 2:50 p.m., Paso Robles police responded to a multi-vehicle traffic crash near the intersection of Niblick Road and Spring Street.

First responders found a woman trapped inside of her crashed vehicle. The woman was rescued from the vehicle and transported to the hospital for treatment.

According to a press release from the Paso Robles Police Department, the woman died shortly after arriving.

The Paso Robles Police Department is investigating the crash and is asking anyone who witnessed it to contact the Police Department.

Police say it's currently unclear if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor.

The driver of the other involved vehicle sustained injuries and is expected to survive.
