Santa Barbara, Calif. - Minor mudslides and debris has been reported on Highway 154 in the Cave Fire burn zone. But the pass remains open thanks to constant patrols by the CHP and Caltrans.

Moderate to heavy rain has been falling along the San Marcos Pass with rain-rates recorded in the .25 inch range per hour. Strong winds are also reported.

The California Highway Patrol is in the area and monitoring road conditions. Caltrans workers have had to clear at least one clogged drainage culvert in the Cave Fire burn zone.

Several accidents have been reported by the CHP on Highway 101 during the morning commute. Drive slow, streets are slick.

Highway 150 had a large rock in the middle of lanes during the storm. The image captured by NewsChannel 3's John Palminteri during the morning commute.
