Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash in Lompoc
LOMPOC, Calif. — A motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday night after a crash with another vehicle in Lompoc.
According to Lompoc Police Department, the collision happened at the intersection of north V street and west Oak Avenue.
Officers responded to the call and arrived at the scene at approximately 6:07 p.m. They located the male motorcyclist who appeared to be "down" and had significant injuries.
LPD Officers say they immediately provided first aide to the male.
After paramedics arrived to the scene of the crash, the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Regarding the crash, the police department has not determined how it happened.
"LPD Officers are conducting an investigation, which is ongoing," said Sgt. Scott Morgan. "Some witnesses were contacted."
