Fire teams responding to vegetation fire near Mercury Drive in Vandenberg Village Friday

VANDENBERG VILLAGE, Calif. – Fire teams are on the scene of a 0.44-acre vegetation fire in a field near the 700 block of Mercury Drive in Vandenberg Village Friday.

Forward progress of the fire was stopped at 10:08 a.m. and crews will remain on the scene for cleanup operations detailed Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
