New Cuyama home damaged in overnight fire

NEW CUYAMA, Calif. - A resident was displaced Wednesday morning after a fire damaged their New Cuyama home.

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to the house at 3:46 a.m. on the 4800 block of Morales Street. Crews were able to keep the fire to one room after what was described as an "aggressive attack."

The resident was not injured. And what caused the fire is under investigation.
