SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Four vehicles collided at Battles Road and Miller Street in Santa Maria after a red light violation Friday.
The Santa Maria Police Department, Santa Maria Fire, and American Medical Response arrived at the scene of the crash early Friday afternoon.
SMPD said that one vehicle ran a red light while travelling south on Miller Street and collided with a vehicle driving east on Battles. The two cars rotated and collided again with two vehicles who were waiting at the stoplight in the intersection.
The police department said four people were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center with mild to moderate injuries.
All were treated and have already been released.
The intersection has since been cleared and road use has resumed.
