Fire destroys two cars in downtown Santa Barbara parking lot

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Two cars in a downtown Santa Barbara parking lot are destroyed by a fire Thursday afternoon.

Flames and fire shot up from the top level of the city parking lot on Anacapa Street around noon. The smoke could be seen for several blocks.

A black Toyota RAV-4 caught fire and the flames spread to a green Subaru.

Santa Barbara City firefighters hauled their hoses up four levels to put out the fire.

No one was injured in this fire according to firefighters.
