Hospice of Santa Barbara to host Light up a Life to honor missed loved ones

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Hospice of Santa Barbara is hosting a community tradition of remembering and honoring those you miss this holiday season.

Light up a Life will feature speakers and special guests, entertainment, refreshments, and the lighting of a memorial tree.

Community members are invited to attend one or more of the Light Up A Life ceremonies.

Participants can hang a star in memory of a loved one who has died or in honor of someone living.

Organizers encourage participants to personalize your star with a photo or quote to honor memories shared.

For information on each ceremony, visit: https://www.hospiceofsb.org/lual.

If you cannot attend in person at one of the four ceremonies, you can still participate in the Virtual Tree of Remembrance.

For a suggested donation of $15, you will be able to dedicate a star on the virtual Tree of Remembrance.

You can showcase your star with your loved one's name, photo, and a special message from you.

If you would like help creating a digital star, please contact jbarbaria@hospiceofsb.org.
