Santa Barbara’s “Concerts in the Park” event seeks musical acts

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The City of Santa Barbara's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking applications for the 2023 Concerts in the Park series.

The concerts scheduled for the last few years had been cancelled due to the pandemic.

“This event is a great way to bring the community together each summer,” said Recreation Manager Rich Hanna.

Musical acts interested in participating in the weekly concerts held on every Thursday in July from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. must submit an application by Feb. 22.

The line-up for the concert series is expected to be announced in Spring.
